Draft Mirrodin
Mirrodin is the large fall set of Mirrodin block, released in 2003 with set code MRD. It is one of Magic’s defining artifact Limited environments, introducing Equipment and using affinity, imprint, entwine, artifact lands, mana Myr, Spellbombs, Replicas, and Talismans to make artifacts central to both deckbuilding and gameplay. In single-set draft or set cube play, colored cards still matter, but many decks share a large pool of artifact creatures, Equipment, fixing, and artifact removal. Mana Myr and Talismans support splashes and faster expensive plays, while artifact lands improve affinity counts. Historical Mirrodin draft began as triple-Mirrodin before Darksteel and Fifth Dawn changed the full block format.
